Data Analytics Sr. Manager (SQL and PowerBi Developer)

As a Data Analytics Sr. Manager in Home Lending, you will identify the business's reporting needs and develop operational reports, executive dashboards, and ad-hoc analysis. Your role includes gathering business requirements, identifying data sources, and collaborating with Data teams to build optimal data solutions. You will use your strong SQL development skills and knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, and other related RDBMS. Your role requires mortgage servicing business knowledge, data science, and data management skills. You will focus on designing, building, and implementing reports and digital dashboards. Job Responsibilities:
•   Develops, tests and produces analytical and operational reports and metrics using SQL, Alteryx, SSRS, Power B, Tableau or equivalent reporting tools to assist the business in meeting operational objectives. 
•   Adheres to internal policies and procedures and identify risks and controls within the operation. 
•   Adheres to technology architecture standards, technology risk management and security policies, and data management policies. 
•   Reviews reports and develop analytical recommendations. 
•   Maintains and launches reports on a recurring basis, examining logic for alignment between multiple, dynamic data sources and business report requirements.    

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

•   Strong SQL is required

•   At least 5 years Development experience on RDBMS such as  SQL and Oracle
•   At least 5 years Development experience on reporting tools such as Alteryx, SSRS, SSIS
•   At least 5 years Development experience on dash boarding such as Power BI, Tableau
•   5+ years of managing resources and projects

•   MS Office (required)

•   Experience with compliance operations testing/production or process automation
•   Experience in reviewing technical specifications, process improvement and process mapping
•   Strong decision making capabilities and the ability to identify problems, propose solutions, and influence/execute change
•   Demonstrated ability to positively interface with other departments, colleagues, and senior management

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
•   Programming experience using VBA / Python (highly preferred)
•   Experience using Oracle, Power BI, Alteryx, SharePoint, JIRA and Business Intelligence tools (preferred) 
•   Programming tools and/or Knowledge - R, PowerShell, scripting, etc. (preferred) 
•   Knowledge in Home Lending LOB/functions (preferred)
•   Good communication skills (written and verbal in a clear/concise manner). Good time management and prioritization skills
•   Ability to work independently yet interact with a wide variety of groups. Ability to negotiate to find creative solutions to reach goals of the group and achieve win/win solutions
•   Ability to communicate effectively with all audience types (clients, operations, management, etc.). Ability to recognize/foresee downstream impact(s) before presenting recommendations. Ability to design flexible solutions that can be seamlessly leveraged/reused for additional clients
