We are looking for Senior Data Engineer to join our growing team in Switzerland.

 

Responsibilities:

•Design, develop, and optimize queries in SQL for efficient data retrieval and manipulation.

•Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs.

•Perform data aggregation and transformation tasks, merging data from multiple tables into designated tables for reporting and analysis purposes.

•Collaborate with data engineers and cross-functionally to ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of the data warehouse

•Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues, ensuring high availability and data integrity.

•Write new and support existing complex data pipelines

•Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in data engineering.

 

Qualifications:

Required:

•Strong proficiency in writing complex SQL queries

•Solid experience with optimization of SQL queries both at modeling and execution levels

•Experience in writing and supporting data pipelines in python, (airflow, luigi or similar)

•Strong experience in debugging data related issues

 

Preferred:

•Dashboarding experience,complex representation and slicing for technical and end users

•Ability to read and understand strongly typed language such as C++

•Experience with python data stack (pandas, numpy, matplotlib)
