Responsibilities We are seeking a talented Data Applications Developer to join our team focused on building innovative, data-driven solutions within our product ecosystem. This role will be central to ensuring that the outputs from data science, engineering, and analytics are effectively utilized and accessible to end-users through our front-end and back-end systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of integrating data products into applications, translating complex insights into intuitive, impactful features for our customers. Key Responsibilities: Develop and Integrate Data-Driven Features: Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product owners to translate insights and machine learning models into front-end and back-end features. This includes developing user interfaces, APIs, and services that deliver data-powered functionalities seamlessly. UI/UX Enhancement: Work closely with UI/UX designers to design and build intuitive dashboards, visualization tools, and user-centric applications that offer insights and drive value for loan officers and borrowers. Automation and Intelligence: Build automated workflows and intelligent system components such as pre-filled forms, smart recommendations, and dynamic user prompts. Quality Assurance and Optimization: Ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of integrated features through thorough testing, debugging, and continuous improvement. Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including product management, data engineers, architects, and line-of-business teams to deliver solutions that align with business needs and improve the borrower experience. Required Skills and Experience: Technical Proficiency: Strong experience in developing web and mobile applications using JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js. Familiarity with back-end frameworks like .NET, Node.js, or Python Flask/Django is highly desirable. API Integration: Experience designing, developing, and integrating RESTful APIs to facilitate data interaction and feature delivery. Database and Data Modeling: Working knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., SQL Server, MongoDB), with the ability to design efficient data models that facilitate real-time data interaction and insights. Cloud and DevOps Expertise: Familiarity with cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure or AWS and working knowledge of DevOps principles, including CI/CD and automated testing. Data Visualization Skills: Experience developing interactive and dynamic dashboards using visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau. Agile Collaboration: Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working within a fast-paced, iterative development environment. University Degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, etc. or equivalent. The following experiences and/or qualifications would be an asset: Experience working in fintech or lending sectors. Familiarity with integrating machine learning models into production applications. Demonstrated experience in developing secure, scalable applications.
