Description
We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our enterprise data architecture. In this strategic role, you will work across business units to define data standards, integrate disparate systems, and build scalable, secure data environments that support business intelligence, analytics, and data-driven decision-making. Key Responsibilities:
+ Design and maintain enterprise data architecture, including data models, standards, and governance frameworks
+ Lead the integration of structured and unstructured data sources across cloud and on-prem systems
+ Define scalable architecture for data lakes, data warehouses, and real-time processing environments
+ Partner with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to align architecture with analytics and reporting needs
+ Ensure data security, compliance, and privacy standards are met across all systems
+ Evaluate and recommend modern data technologies, tools, and platforms
+ Document data flows, architecture diagrams, and best practices for ongoing optimization
Requirements
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
+ 5+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or enterprise architecture
+ Expertise in data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT pipeline design
+ Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
+ Proficiency with SQL and scripting languages (e.g., Python)
+ Familiarity with tools such as Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, dbt, Airflow, Kafka, or similar
+ Strong understanding of data governance, metadata management, and master data management (MDM)
+ Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Experience:
+ Implementing data mesh or data fabric architectures
+ Working in regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, finance)
+ Supporting machine learning workflows and model data pipelines
