Job Description:
Looking for an experienced data architect with strong system integration expertise. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of data architecture, data governance and software system integration experience. This individual will have a proven track record of setting up data governance policies and procedures, validating, documenting and cleansing data, and establishing mechanisms to routinely monitor data to ensure data security, quality and integrity. This individual will assume a technology leadership role in the implementation of our upcoming Workday ERP Project that will include Finance, HR and Professional Services functional domains. This new ERP system will tightly integrate with Salesforce.com which is the system of record for opportunities, sales, pipeline, pricing and fulfillment.

This seasoned technical lead will also be responsible for all data migration activities associated with the ERP rollout. The ideal candidate will:

• This individual will establish the framework for full data life-cycle management (data definition, policies and rules, data quality management, master data management, data control, monitoring and security, data archival and disposal).
• Work with Project Managers to determine scope of system integration effort and to ensure that the appropriate documentation, governance and controls are put in place with new system interfaces.
• Trouble shoot existing data management and quality issues; conduct root cause analysis, and put lasting remediation plans in place to address issues.
• Extract, transform, de-dupe and load enterprise data between and among disparate systems.
• Design, implement and lead large-scale enterprise data migration activities
• Support the architecture, design and implementation of interfaces using open system standards and a Services Oriented Architecture, wherever possible.
• Draft technical specifications, use cases, technical designs, ETL strategies, unit test scripts and other related technical documentation
• Work closely and collaboratively with other project team members.
• Provide post-installation and integration support

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Bachelor of Arts or Sciences Degree in Computer Science, Data Management or equivalent
• Significant experience integrating software solutions across a broad spectrum of disparate operating systems, platforms, databases, IDEs, and programming languages.
• Extensive experience designing web services in a Services Oriented Architectural model.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Proven experience establishing, documenting, and maintaining a sustainable data governance framework.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other business and technical project team members.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Experience implementing complex, global ERP and CRM solutions with established ERP providers such as Workday, Oracle, SAP, SalesForce.com.
• Conversant with a number of software development methodologies and life cycle management practices, including agile software development implementation knowledge.
