Data Architect
Position Description:

CGI is looking for a Data Architect with well versed architecture experience!!!

In this role, your central responsibility as a data architect will be to develop future state road map to adhere to challenging needs of client’s business. You should be actively working with senior client executives to strategize and execute their data vision.

This position is located in our Pittsburgh PA office with work performed at client site in Pittsburgh PA; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Looking for a data engineer who can examine new data system requirements and implement migration models.
• Has at least 8+ years of experience in Data Architecture.
• Should be proficient in architectural frameworks like TOGAF and BIAN
• Has at least 2+ years of experience in working on high visibility high stake engagements.
• Hands-on experience in managing data projects, including cloud migration, data pipelines, virtualization, lineage etc.
• Experience in building large scale data processing and distributed systems using technologies like Spark/Kafka
• Responsible for designing and building data applications to enable on-device and device/server-side combined ML workflows
• Experience with SQL / NoSQL databases
• Experience with Object oriented programming languages like Java / Python
• Experience with Kubernetes or similar technologies
• Design and implement effective database solutions and models to store and retrieve company data.
• Examine and identify database structural necessities by evaluating client operations, applications, and programming.
• Recommend solutions to improve new and existing database systems.
• Educate staff members through training and individual support.
• Offer support by responding to system problems in a timely manner.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or relevant field.
• A minimum of 3 year's experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge data architecture in banking domain.
• Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
• Outstanding problem solver.
• Good written and verbal communication skills

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $ $85,800 - $165,200"
