As a pivotal member of VillageCare's IT leadership team, the Data Architect plays a crucial role in shaping and maintaining the integrity of the organization's data infrastructure. This position focuses on developing and implementing comprehensive data architecture that supports a range of data-driven initiatives, ensuring alignment with VillageCare's strategic goals. The Data Architect goes beyond individual data systems, championing the centralization of data and enhancing interoperability between various platforms. By adopting a medallion architecture, you will work in concert with data governance and analytics teams to optimize the utilization of both internal and external data sources. Reporting to the Deputy CIO, you will lead initiatives in external data sharing while driving creative solutions to leverage data, ultimately supporting the achievement of VillageCare's mission. Collaborating with key IT leaders, you will help to execute a robust roadmap for a dynamic data infrastructure that fulfills organizational requirements and data analytics priorities.\nAre you a good fit for this Data Architect job?\n

To thrive as an Enterprise-wide Data Architect at VillageCare, candidates must bring a robust skill set and extensive experience to the table. A minimum of 10 years in large-scale data management, particularly within the healthcare domain, is essential. Familiarity with managing teams and successfully executing data-related projects is critical for driving impactful results. Proficiency in data modeling, database management, data warehousing, and ETL processes is a must, as is a solid educational foundation, ideally with a Master's degree in computer science or Information Technology.\n

Candidates should possess expert-level knowledge of AWS services, particularly Redshift, as well as experience with HIPAA-compliant architecture models. Technical expertise in SQL, R, Python, DataGrip, Informatica, and Tableau is necessary for effective data manipulation and visualization. Understanding FIHR, HL7, and EDI transactions, in addition to performance monitoring and scheduling software, will be crucial for ensuring data integrity and availability. Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills are vital for collaborating with cross-functional teams and driving data initiatives forward.\nYour next step\n
