Analytics Global Delivery Poland, a large, growing delivery center located in Warsaw, offers high-quality Applications/Platforms Development and Management Services to DXC customers all over the world. The Center’s portfolio covers the full software lifecycle, including Business and Systems Analysis, Development, Quality Assurance, Project Management, Testing and Support. The main technology focus is on Cloud, Big Data, Business Intelligence, Web and mobile solutions, ERP and CRM systems. DXC invests in multiple certifications for its employees, both technical (eg. Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP, Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, SAP), and managerial (PMP, ITIL).

We are currently looking for

Data Architect

Job location: Poland (remote) or Warsaw (hybrid)

Data Architect will contribute to multiple Data Management and Enterprise Analytics initiatives across DXC. The role will require strong collaboration skills and business relationship management with key business and technical stakeholders. A strong understanding of Data Governance best practices is also essential. This is a virtual first position.

Essential Job Functions

Defines, designs and builds data models for IT systems (relational and dimensional) to meet business needs.Assists in the application and implementation procedures of data standards and guidelines on data ownership, coding structures and data replication to ensure access to, and integrity of data sets.Evaluates reusability of current data for additional analysis, while maintaining integrity and confidentiality of information.Provides data consulting in support of business and information technology initiatives to clients to improve DXC systems.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in information science, data management, computer science or related field preferredFive or more years of experience in data modelingExperience working with industry standards, regulations and guidelines in database and other relevant systemsExperience working with relational databasesProven history of working as a Data ArchitectGood working knowledge of Cloud Architecture and Services, specifically on MS Azure (preferably)Experience of dealing with very large data sets and high-volume data systems.Excellent knowledge of Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Data Integration conceptsExcellent knowledge of Data Bricks, Azure Data FactoryExcellent communication skills and relevant certifications in data management, architecture and cloud platformsLeadership skills (Tech Lead, Team Lead etc.)

Other Qualifications

Experience with ERWIn, ERStudio or any other data modeling toolsCloud Experience with AZURE Synapse or AZURE SQL serverAbility to define and communicate conceptual, logical or physical data modelGood personal computer and business solutions software skillsGood communication skills to communicate with customers, team members, external data providers and managementGood analytical and problem solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team
