Kforce is working with one of the largest super-regional insurers in the country in search of a Data Architect to join their team. This position is remote, but you must reside in one of the following states: AZ, CT, DE, FL, IL, IN, MA, MD, MI, MO, NC, NE, NH, NJ, NY, OH, PA, RI, TX, VA, WI, with the ability to travel to NJ and NY up to 25% of the time. Summary: The Data Architect will lead the design and implementation of a comprehensive data strategy. In this role, you will focus on leveraging the organization's existing data stored across multiple applications to drive strategic decision-making, optimize operations, and improve data accessibility. You will play a critical role in developing and aligning the data architecture to meet current and future business needs while ensuring integration across systems. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Data Architecture Design: You will be responsible for developing and maintaining data architecture strategy; You will collaborate closely with various teams to ensure that our data architecture supports our business goals and leverages existing data from various applications * Data Modeling: You will create and optimize data models for transactional, operational, and analytical systems; Your expertise in data modeling will ensure data consistency and reliability, enabling flawless data analysis and reporting * Data Integration: Designing and implementing end-to-end data integration solutions will be a key aspect of your role; You will consolidate data from various sources into a cohesive and accessible data environment, using the latest Azure modern data stack technologies * Data Governance: You will establish and enforce data governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data quality, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements; Your attention to detail and dedication to data integrity will be crucial in maintaining a world-class data environment
