We are looking for a skilled Data Architect to design and manage our company’s data systems. This role will involve developing data models, ensuring the scalability and security of the data architecture, and providing strategic guidance on how data can be used across the organization to meet business goals.

What will you be doing?

Design Data Architecture: Develop and design scalable and efficient data models and databases for structured and unstructured data. Create blueprints for data systems, including data flow, storage, and integration with other business systems.Data Integration & Management: Design and implement data pipelines and integrate data from various sources. Ensure the seamless flow and storage of data across multiple platforms and environments.Collaboration with Customers: Work with data engineers, data scientists, business analysts, and other customers to understand data needs and build solutions that meet those requirements.Data Security & Compliance: Implement measures to ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).Performance & Scalability: Optimize data systems for speed, reliability, and scalability. Monitor system performance and solve issues as needed.Data Governance & Quality: Develop and enforce standard processes in data governance, data quality, and data management.Cloud & On-Premise Solutions: Design and manage hybrid cloud and on-premise data solutions as required by the business.Documentation & Training: Create user documentation of data architecture and deliver training to other teams on how to use data systems and follow standard processes.Innovation & Trends: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and standard processes in data architecture, and bring forward ideas for innovation.

What will you need to be successful?

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science, information technology, Data science, or a related field.Minimum of 5-7 years in data architecture or a related role.Experience in designing and managing large-scale data infrastructure and systems.Should have prior experience in enterprise-level Data systems (Salesforce, Snowflake, Financial ERPs SAP, etc.).Experience in ETL (Extract Transform & Load) and Salesforce & SQL is preferred.Should have experience in managing enterprise-level data & integration challenges.Solid understanding of data modeling, database design, and data warehousing.Proficiency in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, Salesforce, or Google Cloud.Experience with data integration tools, ETL processes, and data pipelines.Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance.Expertise in database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, relational databases, Hadoop, Snowflake, etc.).Experience with programming languages like Python, Java, or Scala is a plus!Solid understanding of data storage, security protocols, and cloud architectures.Familiarity with modern data warehouse solutions such as Snowflake or Redshift.Collaboration with multi-functional teams in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex data requirements.Superb communication skills, both technical and non-technical.Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and lead multi-functional projects.Diligent with good interpersonal and documentation skills.
