Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!
Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!
Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.
As you know, every person is different and so is every role in a company. That is why we have to adapt accordingly, and the process may differ slightly at times. However, please know that we always put ourselves in the candidate's shoes to ensure they have the best possible experience.

Job description
ABOUT THE JOB
Foster a data-driven mindset across IT and business teams. Build trust and influence stakeholders at all levels to encourage data-centric decision-making. Engage with business and technology leaders to understand strategic objectives and provide data-driven solutions. Define and implement a structured data governance framework. Ensure compliance with data protection, security policies, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with technology risk and compliance teams to align data practices with security standards. Design and oversee data architecture, ensuring alignment with business needs. Lead the development of a scalable and secure Data Platform. Establish and refine processes for data ingestion, classification, lineage, integration, and cataloging. Develop evergreen processes for monitoring and continuously improving data quality. Partner with application development teams to implement data integration strategies across on-premise and cloud-based (Azure) solutions. Define and promote best practices for Data Lake development, machine learning, and data analytics. Work with business stakeholders to leverage data for strategic decision-making, operational efficiencies, and risk reduction.
ABOUT YOU
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 7+ years of IT experience in an architectural or managerial role, preferably in the insurance or financial sector. Proven track record of influencing cross-functional teams and delivering high-impact data solutions. Strong background in Cloud Platforms (Azure preferred) and enterprise data solutions. Experience in relational databases (Azure SQL, SQL Server, Oracle) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cosmos DB, Redis, Neo4j). Familiarity with Big Data technologies (Azure Data Lake, Azure ML, Databricks, Event Hub). Proficiency in machine learning algorithms and tools such as Python, R. Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI). Strong leadership and ability to drive data-driven transformation. Excellent executive communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts in a simplified manner. Self-motivated, results-driven, and a team-oriented professional with a problem-solving mindset.
