Data Architecture Consultant (CRM)

Due to continued growth with one of our large clients we are searching for a Data Architecture Consultant to join our team. This role is in Edmonton.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Responsible for data architecture and data analysis CRM implementation project.
• Enhance data governance to support the CRM program - data profiling, data cleansing and data migration strategy.
• Attend business requirements meeting; Provide translation from business requirements to technical requirements as well as conduct data quality plan with business.
• Complete current-state data models, data flows, and integration mapping documents.
• Responsible for all aspects of data management.
• Create data cleansing and data migration strategy
• Collaborate with CRM vendor to develop an end-to-end solution architecture
• Ensure integration between CRM and MDM projects
• Collaborate and support external vendor during QA, SIT, UAT, Go-Live and hyper-care phase

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in data architecture in an enterprise IT environment
• Hands-on experience working on data governance, data mapping, data cleansing and data migration projects
• Good experience designing, planning, implementing and supporting enterprise data architecture solutions
• Experience working in projects involving complex data integrations, providing leadership, planning, estimating, and presentations of ideas and solutions
• Experience with Salesforce or MS Dynamics CRM is an asset

Desired Skills:
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements
• Experience and technical knowledge of SQL server architecture, querying data with Transact-SQL, implementing a data warehouse, and developing of data models.
• Experience with developing large-scale data migration solutions
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise architecture database plans and models that help align an organization's data, information or technology with its required business capabilities
• Experience with cloud computing or big data platforms and infrastructure
• Experience with enterprise business intelligence and performance management products. Specifically Cognos BI Suite, Microsoft SQL Server Services, MS Power BI (Query, View) or MicroStrategy SR: Microsoft BI Suite, Microsoft SQL Server Services, MS Power BI (Query, View), Tableau, etc.
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or Diploma in IT with equivalent IT experience
• Certification in TOGAF
