As a Data Owner at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer & Community Banking- Data and Analytics, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives
Job Responsibilities:
Define and publish business metadata, data lineage, and classification codes Define and publish record retention codes and validate the purge processes Execute processes and procedures to identify, monitor, and mitigate data risks across the data lifecycle in their business area, include risks related to data protection, retention and destruction, storage, use, and quality. Design datasets and develop operational procedures for delivering data in support of business operations, strategic objectives, advance analytics and reporting goals. Populate a data marketplace Define and document data requirements of key stakeholders to ensure understanding of data and its use across business and functions. Partner with technology and business to investigate root causes of data issues and provided recommendations for remediation. Collaborate with technology and business partners to resolve identified data issues in a timely manner Develop relationships with data providers and data consumers, including partners in the Business, Technology, Analytics, Operations, Risk and Control functionsRequired qualifications, capabilities and skills:
Bachelor’s /Masters in data or technology domain. 9+ years of industry experience in a data-related field. Subject matter expertise in business or product data or processes. Proven ability to execute via internal partnerships. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
Technical knowledge of data management and governance, big data platforms, or data architecture preferred.
