PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
The Child Sponsorship Content Technical Business & Data Analyst is a fun and rewarding technical role in the Child Sponsorship Content Team. They report to Child Sponsorship Content Production & Operations Manager and support the Child Sponsorship Production Leads. They basically help analyze and understand the current state of the business and operations and use these to craft solutions that is aligned to the business goals and objectives where the core is the production of over 8 million digital and printed engagement features for child sponsors each year efficiently and effectively.
This role calls for a capable technical individual who is with in depth knowledge of business needs assessment and has the skills on different process improvement methodologies to reach the business goals. They need to be organized, a good communicator, with high attention to details, proven experience in process improvement projects, who enjoys being a key member of a fast-paced and high achieving team. They need to be able to gather, organize, verify and process data from both internal and external partners in both process and system views. They also need to have the capacity and knowledge to conduct research and derive insights and best practices from the industry and/or market.
Requires a mindset of forward thinking and planning ahead, the ability to create ways and methods to improve processes and ways of working both in incremental and breakthrough manners.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan, organize, establish business solutions to the defined business (production) opportunities via in-depth investigation and gathering of technical and non-technical information. Understand and outline clearly the detailed needs and current state for a robust solution to ensure the delivered solution meets and satisfies the business/operations needs.
Plan, align and support Operations Manager and the production team to execute adherence to various child sponsorship product features’ timelines and guidelines with an automated working platform, processes, and tools.
Identify, escalate and provide recommendations to address and minimize if not totally eliminate non-value adding processes ie. manual steps within operations to achieve a more efficient and effective production flows end-to-end.
Assist and support production team through a working/automated system in identifying erroneous and non-compliant input (data) and cleaning up the same prior to using them in the process to ensure a robust process and output.
Help automate daily production progress reports that includes visual analytics for all stakeholders ensuring data accuracy and reliability of numbers and greater efficiency that will help in sound and better decision-making.
Assist in giving capacity building to the team in the areas of technical skills (excel, power query, powerBI, etc) where needed and where applicable.
Complete other duties and responsibilities assigned by leads and management (where applicable)
REQUIREMENTS:
At least 3 to 4 years of work experience in a Business Solution industry/organization or equivalent.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering or related field. Experience in projects using business process improvement methodologies
Capacity to manage own time and team workload, adhere to high standards documentation, and work with very high attention to detail.
Proficient using MS Office, specifically Excel, Word, Power point, Outlook.
Fluent level spoken and written English capacity.
Ability to facilitate conflict resolution and provide peer support and mentoring.
Capability to work in agile/sprint work environment Willingness to learn.
