Data Center Cabling Installer

ROLE:

Structured Cabling Technicians will be responsible for the installation, termination, and testing of low voltage cabling systems for new construction and within active facilities. 

This requires reading, comprehending, and adhering to project design drawings/plans, specifications, manufacturer recommendations, and installation standards while installing and/or decommissioning critical cabling and network infrastructure in a Data Center environment. Technicians must deliver project installations according to the customer’s expectations and exhibit the ability to provide outstanding customer service.

YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO:

Listen carefully and follow instructions Work and learn as a part of a team Teach and mentor lesser experienced Infrastructure Technicians Obtain OSHA 10 and First Aid/CPR Certifications within your first 90 days on the job

YOU MUST HAVE:

Willingness to work days, nights, and weekends as required. Knowledge of safe and appropriate use of basic hand tools for Telecom and Construction Industry Reliable source of daily transportation An ability to read/write/understand English and identify colors High School Diploma, GED, or relevant experience

NICE TO HAVE:

Fiber Optic Association Certifications BICSI Technical Certification
