Your role and responsibilities

The work model for the role is RemoteYou will be mainly accountable for:• Primary On-Site Representative: Serve as the main contact for ABB customers and field personnel.• Customer Satisfaction: Plan and execute service work to meet customer expectations and ensure retention.• Opportunity Identification: Work with customers to identify and address operational improvements and pain points.• Site Work Management: Prepare and manage site work, including subcontractors, for larger projects.• Technical Expertise: Perform complex field service tasks, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical consultation.• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and manage all necessary documentation and reports for service activities.• Continuous Improvement: Identify and drive improvements in processes and products.• Travel and Safety Compliance: Travel extensively and adhere to safety protocols and ABB’s safety culture.

Qualifications for the role

High School diploma/GED with 12 years of related experience, OR Associate’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with 10 years of experience, OR Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with 8 years of experience. Must be knowledgeable in all areas of the National Electrical Code (NEC), Safety Codes and Regulations and QA (Local & National). Advance theoretical experience in all aspects of electrical design. Able to work with all levels of maintenance, engineering, and management. Project management or supervisory experience.Demonstrated ability to lead and influence customers and peers. Knowledge of Knowledge of MS suite of products, Google suite of products (Sheets, Docs, Drive, and Slides), project issue resolution software (BIM, Compass, CxAlloy, Procore, etc.). Ability to communicate effectively to both external customers, vendors and other partners, as well as internal stakeholders. Preference will be given to candidates with experience on Emerson RX3i etc. and Proficy Machine edition, ABB AC500 PLC and Automation Builder software, CP600 HMI and Panelbuilder software, and/or well as Zenon for HMIs and Cimplicity software, Woodward Easygen and LSS, Computer networking skills, wire shark and IED scout, relay testing and configuration experience (Siemens, ABB REX640, SSC600, REF615, REG615, SEL, Multilin), and RTAC configuration. Must be fluent both written and conversational in the English Language. Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
