What will you be doing?
Data Center Fiber Foreman reporting into our Technical Delivery and Engineering practice capable of performing onsite foreman/leadership duties, ensuring quality workmanship is achieved in accordance with industry standards and technical documentation, and perform hands-on work where necessary, on behalf of WWT at various customer locations and oversee the work for partner resources and subcontractors.
Responsibilities:
Perform as the onsite lead & liaison for partner resources, data center facilities, and subcontractors. Collaborate across teams as needed to ensure successful project execution. Supervise the overall on-site project technical requirements including staging, staffing, implementation, and physical infrastructure testing / troubleshooting. Ensure cabling, labeling, as-builts, site documents, and deliverables comply with the client's requirements, industry standards, and best practices for data center infrastructure. Maintain the safety, technical, and security policy systems in and on the data center property. Advise and provide procurement modifications to the inventory and bill of materials. Integrate various components based on the provided slotting matrix/cabling diagrams. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure the integrity and reliability of Layer 1 infrastructure buildouts. As required, perform hands-on work including pulling, securing, routing, splicing, and testing cable.
