As an employer of choice, we invest heavily in our people offering industry-leading training and a dynamic working environment. **THE TEAM** For our CBRE DCS department, which offers the operation of locations with critical installations, we are currently seeking a skilled and goal-oriented Critical Facility Manager with great initiative to take responsibility for leading our delivery at one of our clients located in Japan. **Job Discription** Essential Functions · Implement and follow standardized culture of always working safely · Supervise a team of technicians to ensure good performance. · Be the problem resolver. Before Practical Completion · Support building/space/equipment handover from delivery team to operations team and transit it to operation zone. · Review and take over drawings/MOP/SOPand all other operation document from GC/delivery/vendors. · Work withcustomerops team to identify potential operation issues during project stage. · Witness equipment Commissioning/ IST activities. After Practical Completion · Lead a team of technicians to take care of the operation zone in the data center building. Lead a team of technicians to provide day-to-day inspection of site and equipment and report back status. · Operate, monitor, maintain, and respond to abnormal conditions in facilities systems. Areas include Electrical, Mechanical, Building Monitoring and Control and all other building systems. · Ensure data center operates at maximum operational efficiency, including analyzing existing operating conditions, and improving overall efficiency. · Work withcustomerteam to develop and implement preventive and predicative maintenance schedule. · Support defect management after handover. · Manage repair work and make sure report is done properly. · Lead technicians to develop SOP/EOP/MOP · Manage interfacing activities between delivery/GC and operations. · Provide feedback toAGMon the effectiveness of existing standards and processes. · Lead in Incident escalation, response, and follow-up report writing. · Take on-call duties outside of normal working hours in case of emergency Competencies · Excellent communication skills. · Good management skills · Ability to handle a multitude of tasks and work well in stressful situations. · Understanding of the electrical and mechanical systems used in a data center environment. These include, but not limited to: UPS, Transformers, PDU’s, RPP’s, Chillers, CRAH, CRAC, STS, ATS, and Pre[1]action systems. · Knowledge of applicable local building code. · Familiarity and experience in data center trending and analysis, with the ability to rapidly learn and use PC based site monitoring systems. · Ability to communicate effectively with other team members. · Ability to coordinate, supervise, and communicate with contractors who perform maintenance in the data center. · Must be a team player. Required Education and Experience · Diploma or equivalent technical qualification · Minimum of5years’ experience in a data center or relevant mission critical operations roleor relevant. · Experience working with various Microsoft office applications and other database housing software. · Class-2 certified electrical engineer(第二種電気主任技術者) would be plus.
