Have Strong project management and technical leadership skills, with a specific focus on data center migrations, consolidations, net-new, etc. Manage projects involving server consolidation, software migrations, or infrastructure consolidation/moves. Must be able to perform as a high-level Technical Architect to oversee working technical teams. Ability to manage a project plan, track milestones, and identify dependencies. Good oral and written communication skills and the ability to interact efficiently with a large Project Management Office and Technical Team. Project Management Certification (a plus but not mandatory). Previous experience as Lead Architect or Technology Silo (Platform) Lead in data center relocation/consolidation/divestiture required. Previous experience with Application Dependency Discovery required. Identify, define, collate, document, and communicate the data migration requirements. Develop Data Collection Plan and conduct workshops for data collection planning; develop bundling criteria in conjunction with the customer. Provide a detailed migration roadmap and prepare migration runbooks/plans for each migration event: Conduct Tabletop exercises to review and validate execution plans. Review and update the Runbook and migration data as appropriate. Coordinate infrastructure readiness to confirm the readiness of the client’s target site. Track completion of pre-migration tasks and develop command center documentation for each migration event. Create the Go/No-Go document and facilitate the Go/No-Go meeting. Manage the execution of the runbook, coordinating with appropriate vendors and client SMEs. Assist with documenting issues in the Issues Log. Document all lessons learned and lead the lessons-learned review meeting with the client. Basic experience in server consolidation and infrastructure consolidations/moves. Previous experience in data center relocation/consolidation/divestiture required. At least 7 years of directly related work experience in the Information Technology field is required. At least 7 years of experience with data center rationalization, consolidation, relocation, or migration is preferred.
