The following shifts are available:
Sunday through Tuesday, every other Wednesday (6:00am-6:00pm) Thursday through Saturday, every other Wednesday (6:00am-6:00pm) Sunday through Tuesday, every other Wednesday (6:00pm-6:00am) Thursday through Saturday, every other Wednesday (6:00pm-6:00am) Floater role TBD - 12 hour shiftsJob Purpose or Objective(s): You will maintain and service the data center environment while ensuring that the facility and the IT systems it houses remain available and online. You will report to the Data Center Manager.
Primary Tasks:
1. You will monitor environment and respond to alarms of abnormal conditions to maintain operational readiness of computing and supporting equipment.
2. Operate, monitors and perform basic troubleshooting of equipment, networks, and data processing.
3. Assist with logging and documentation of equipment and processes.
4. Your responsibilities may also include overseeing the installation of cabling, labeling and racking of hardware.
5. Handle incident monitoring and recording.
6. Operate basic test equipment for cabling, electrical and HVAC components to identify potential performance issues in the datacenter.
7. Help with maintenance and upkeep of active directory accounts and permissions
8. Collect electrical load and environmental data; identify and improve hard infrastructure deficiencies and resource constraints within the site; escalate to engineer.
9. You will contribute documentation to the knowledgebase including repeatable procedures such as How-To, SOW, MOP and SOPs.
10. Perform other tasks as may be assigned.
Requirements:
Associates degree or equivalent working knowledge or 2 years related experience. General knowledge of networks and operating systems Experience with one-line and schematic drawings Great attitude with internal customers and external parties Able to lift 60 - 75 lbs. 3 years' experience supporting system infrastructure and data center.About the Choctaw Nation
