The Data Center Pre-Sales & Fulfilment Lead is responsible for designing, pricing and implementing solutions that meet the technical, operational and commercial needs of all data center clients. This role involves supporting sales and sales partners/channels in addressing DC customer’s infrastructure requirements submitted via the sales channels (e.g., rack space, power, cooling, network, cabling, cross-connect, etc.). Provided solutions must be cost effectively priced and fulfilled. The position aims to deliver high-quality data center services that align with customer requirements, maximize efficiency and enhance service offerings through proactive account management and collaboration.
Manage delivery projects for signed-up customer and ensure timely RFS as per customer contract.
Provides customer requirements solutions, supports in creating commercial offers. Align products and services costs & features ensuring commercial profitability of offered services to customers.
Coordinates to ensure infrastructure capacity, space, and technical requirements are met.
Collaborate on customer subscribed services, ensures smooth transition and handover of customer services.
Align on capacity plans, inventory, delivery projects and any client technical support requirements.
Collaborate project delivery milestones and status report as part of project governance.
Work with Customer Success leads ensuring proper endorsement and handover of customers from delivery phase to post-sales/RFS stage.
Provide data center solutions addressing client needs. Conduct technical scoping and engage clients in understanding the offered solution.
Collaborate with clients and deliver a cost-effective and highly resilient data center service.
Collaborate with sales partners in order to create and deliver the right solution cost effectively.
Coordinates to meet customer-specific network requirements.
Manage vendors/suppliers on required service and equipment terms to meet customer requirements. Provides technical specifications and costs for equipment and services.
Professional Background and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or related fields; certifications in Data Center or IT Infrastructure Management3-5 years in data center or IT infrastructure roles, particularly in capacity management and pre-sales solutions for IT co-location; minimum of three years in technical sales or product development for data center services.Professional Qualifications & Training
Preferred certifications include Data Center Professional/Practitioner certifications, such as: Certified Data Center Professional (CDCP), Certified Data Center Specialist (CDCS), Uptime Institute certifications or other relevant data center or infrastructure certificationsKnowledge and Skills
Data Center Standards and Compliance: Expertise in industry standards (e.g., ANSI/TIA-942, Uptime, ISO QMS) to ensure solutions meet compliance and operational quality.Infrastructure Design and Capacity Management: Proficiency in designing and managing critical systems (power, cooling, security) for efficient capacity planning.IT Equipment and Network Deployment: Familiarity with deploying servers, storage, and networking, including structured cabling and cross-connect services.Financial Acumen for Project Budgeting and Costing: Skilled in budget planning, cost estimation, and financial risk management to maintain cost-effective projects.Vendor and Supplier Management: Strong negotiation and relationship skills with vendors to meet equipment and service needs efficiently.Business and Strategic Acumen: Ability to align technical solutions with business goals, maximizing customer value and driving growth.
