Description System Operations and Maintenance: + Monitor data center infrastructure and ensure uptime. + Perform preventative maintenance on servers, networks, and storage systems. + Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software. Technical Support: + Respond to and resolve technical incidents and service requests. + Collaborate with IT teams to address escalations. + Maintain accurate documentation of systems and support procedures. Infrastructure Management: + Ensure proper cabling, rack management, and power distribution. + Implement security measures and access controls. + Support capacity planning and equipment inventory. Compliance and Security: + Ensure compliance with data center standards and protocols. + Maintain physical and logical security within the facility. + Conduct regular audits and update documentation as needed. Collaboration and Communication: + Work with cross-functional teams to deploy projects. + Provide updates and reports to management regarding performance and issues. + Train junior staff or team members as necessary. Requirements + Knowledge of server systems, virtualization, and network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP). + Familiarity with monitoring tools and data center management software. + Physical ability to manage equipment installations and replacements. + Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Certifications (preferred): + CompTIA Server+, Cisco CCNA, Microsoft, or AWS certifications.
