Job Description: Data Center Technician
TEKsystems is seeking a Data Center Technician to support our client in Plain City, OH. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining the hardware infrastructure of the latest cloud computing server technologies. The ideal candidate will adeptly resolve issues with server and network hardware through root cause analysis and possess a strong understanding of computers, servers, network devices, and command line diagnostics.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Maintain and troubleshoot hardware infrastructure for cloud computing server technologies.
+ Quickly and accurately resolve issues with server and network hardware using root cause analysis.
+ Communicate advanced technical information to individuals with varying technical knowledge levels.
+ Demonstrate strong situational awareness and contribute to both intra and inter-team development.
+ Utilize strong analytical skills and proven problem-solving abilities.
+ Operate efficiently under high-pressure, time-sensitive situations while managing multiple critical priorities.
Required Qualifications:
+ Technical aptitude and ability to communicate advanced technical information.
+ Good situational awareness and ability to contribute to team development.
+ Strong analytical skills and demonstrated problem-solving ability.
+ Ability to operate both independently and as part of a team with varying degrees of supervision.
+ 1+ year of experience in Computer Hardware.
+ 1+ year of experience in Computer Networking.
+ 1+ year of experience with Linux Operating Systems.
+ Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in elevated locations (reasonable accommodations available).

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.63 - $22.63/hr.
