We encourage new ways of working, driving innovation, whilst always living to our RISE values - Respect Integrity Service Excellence **Job Purpose - Data Centre Manager** + To provide Risk Mitigation to the assets/ systems identified within the contractual scope and ensure all environmental conditions are maintained always with regard to critical building systems. + To ensure Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) plans are in place and the services required are delivered to that plan. + Ensure all reactive and breakdown works to all M&E Systems, Building Fabric and infrastructure within the confines of the building compound are completed promptly. + To effectively supervise the day to day operation of the shift teams to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the site’s M&E systems. + To lead our on-site Data Centre Operations team, ensuring delivery excellence of a business + Accountability for meeting or exceeding against contracted SLA’s in this high availability environment in the delivery of Critical Engineering and Facilities Management services + Responsibility for rigorous adherence to all Quality Health & Safety measures to ensure the safety of the teams on site always + Through effective change control procedures ensure that all works are carried out to the required specification, time and costs, and that all required commercial agreements are in place critical 24/7/365 operating environment for a key customer **Key responsibilities are as follows:** Review and advise on clients Opex & Capex budget + To act as the focal point for Client queries relating to the Building, M&E Systems and infrastructure as directed by the client + To champion and supervise the CBRE CERMTM processes ensuring they are used to mitigate risk to the operation of critical plant and equipment. + To follow EOPs and escalate accordingly when incidents occur. + To own the Planned Preventative Maintenance Plan and ensure it is carried out in line with task schedules and industry best practices. + Supervision of the Team in accordance with CBRE, Procedures and Policies including holiday/absence cover. + Ensuring the efficient and effective operation, maintenance and repair of the sites M&E Systems, Building Fabric and infrastructure. + Complete regular inspections of the Building Fabric, M&E Systems and infrastructure to ensure that the Clients assets are maintained in accordance with the manufacturers guidelines and industry best practice. + Compliance with and provide record keeping for CBRE ISO 9002 Quality Management System to support the Client with accreditation to ISO standards. + Prioritising and delegating reactive and Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks to the shift team ensuring optimum levels of service delivery are being achieved. + Ensure that Planned Preventative Maintenance is Advising the Operations Manager on labour levels and + First line supervision of Specialist Service Contractors, including Induction and signing off and actioning minor works listed on service report sheets in accordance with the MSA. + Utilising the Client CMMS to monitor staff’s performance and ensure service delivery. **Skills, Knowledge and Experience:** + IT literate in MS Office and systems management software. + Management experience in dealing with sub-contractors and supply chain partners. + Able to co-ordinate and manage multiple works, end-to-end across a diverse and complex site. + Experience in previous Data Centre environment + Have strong quantitative and technical skills + Awareness of health, safety, and compliance + Excellent organization skills, to plan the use of people and resources to meet deadlines. + Strong interpersonal skills -
