Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Data Collector in San Francisco, California. The selected candidate will be involved in testing a mechanical gripping device, providing valuable feedback to our engineering team, and handling periods of downtime efficiently. This role is crucial to our product development process within the industry.
Responsibilities:
• Test the functionality of the mechanical gripping device by lifting household items
• Provide detailed and constructive feedback to the engineering team regarding the device's performance
• Stand for extended periods during the testing process
• Manage periods of downtime effectively while engineers re-program the device
• Utilize skills in Administrative Assistance, Customer Service, Data Entry, and Order Entry to perform tasks efficiently and accurately
• Maintain a high level of organization and detail-orientation throughout the testing process
• Contribute to our product development efforts by providing insights and suggestions based on device testing results
• Handle any customer inquiries related to the device, processing their applications if necessary
• Maintain accurate customer records and monitor customer accounts when required
• Take appropriate action based on monitoring of customer accounts Requirements • Demonstrable experience in Administrative Assistance, including managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and handling office logistics
• Proven track record in Customer Service, with the ability to promptly address client inquiries and resolve any issues
• Proficiency in Data Entry, with high speed and accuracy to ensure all information is correctly captured and updated
• Experience in Order Entry, with the ability to process customer orders efficiently and accurately
• Excellent attention to detail, ensuring all data collected is accurate and up to date
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral, for effectively interacting with customers and team members
• Good organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
• Familiarity with data collection tools and software, and the ability to learn new systems quickly
• Basic understanding of data privacy standards and regulations
• High school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for candidates with further education or training in a relevant field. TalentMatch®
