Data CoordinatorReq #:0000189931 Category:Clerical / Administrative Support Status:Per Diem Shift:Day Facility:RWJ New Brunswick Department:VOCA Grant Location: Main Hospital - New Brunswick, One Robert Wood Johnson Place, New Brunswick, NJ 08901 Job Overview: The Hospital Violence Intervention Program (HVIP) Data Coordinator (per diem) is responsible for managing and analyzing program data to improve accuracy, processes, and perform statistical analyses to identify trends, correlations, and insights that support the program s objectives. Qualifications: Required: + Undergraduate degree in public health or related field. Preferred: + Some programmatic data collection and program evaluation experience + Participation in community organizations and firsthand understanding of issues related to community violence Scheduling Requirements: + Day Shift + Per Diem Essential Functions: + The Data Analyst will produce clear and concise statistical reports to monitor program effectiveness + The Data Analyst will collect, analyze, and interpret data to support decision making and improve efficiency; collect, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources; develop dashboard reports and visualizations to communicate findings; ensure data integrity and accuracy through validation and quality checks + The data analyst will collaborate with the Community Intervention Manager/Grant Administrator to design ways to address the identified trends, correlations, and insights revealed by program data + Periodically attends team meetings to address any programmatic data issues + The data analyst will attend HVIP Community Consortium quarterly meetings + As part of the HVIP team, provide data regarding the types of violence suffered, patterns of victimization and demographics, barriers, to determine gaps in services, to inform the consortium s work and for reporting purposes + Assist the HVIP Community Intervention Manager with collecting anecdotal success stories and challenges to be used in conjunction with formal reports and to highlight HVIP best practices and outcomes + Assists the HVIP Community Intervention Manager with completing quarterly reports and annual reports Other Duties: Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
