JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for implementation of data services and modification and enhacement of data architecture, automation and planning. On the Mobile Insights Analytics team, we strive to make the most out of the data we have by applying innovative techniques, statistical modeling, ML solutions, and becoming SMEs on our datasets to help create actionable outputs to help drive the business. We support many lanes withing Charter including (but certainly not limited to) Wireless Operations, Wireless Engineering, Mobile Engineering, Mobile Product and WiFi Product.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experienceImplement data services, data structure/models and data movement infrastructuresProvide and implement preventative solutions and troubleshoots data job failures, including but not limited to error handling, data manipulation and I/O processing under minimal supervisionImplement database concepts and practices, including definition and query languageModify, enhance, and influence requirements and architecture specifications of data warehousing systems and/or processing infrastructureImplement solutions with stakeholder teams to design, implement, and support end to end data solutions, across multiple platforms, environments, domains, and locationsWith minimal supervision, works closely with internal staff, vendors, consultants, and external partners to quickly identify and resolve data integrationWith minimal supervision, participate in development of reporting processes, programs, and solutions as per established standardsWillingness to pick up and learn new tools and technologies (Imply Pivot, HeavyAI, AWS, etc…)REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to perform in-depth and independent research and analysis with some guidanceIntermediate knowledge of SQL and Python (YAML – if applicable)Intermediate knowledge of Data Tools including querying, scripting, analysis, ETL, and command line interfacesIntermediate knowledge cloud-based infrastructures and services relevant to data processing, data automation and data platform/processing troubleshootingKnowledge of Charter’s product data sources and data pipelines Ability to apply appropriate level of data maintenance, data quality control and validation of code, tools, and models as directedIntermediate knowledge of reporting Development and visualization designExperience with building use cases and providing development support to data scientists and data engineersExperience with data lake – all data sources - building out data sets for use casesExperience with building SQL databases and tablesExperience with querying and designing efficient warehousing structuresRequired Education
Bachelor's degree in computer science, statistics, operations research and/or equivalent combination of education and experiencePrior Internship, related course work, or certificationRequired Related Work Experience and Number of Years

The base pay for this position generally is between $78,900.00 and $139,500.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
