What you will do: As a Data Engineer on our team, you'll work with latest and greatest technologies and complex data environments with petabyte scale. You'll be responsible for enhancing our existing data architecture to further standardize metrics and definitions, developing end-to-end data engineering solutions for complex analytical problems, and You should have excellent business and communication skills to be able to work with business analysts and engineers to determine how best to design the data warehouse for reporting and analytics.
This role requires you to live at the intersection of data, software, and science. We leverage a comprehensive suite of AWS technologies, with key tools including S3, Redshift, , EMR, Glue, Iceberg, SageMaker, Athena etc. You will drive the development process from design to release.
Key job responsibilities
- Create scalable data models for effective data processing, storage, retrieval, and archiving.
- Manage data ingestion from heterogeneous data sources, with automated data quality checks.
- Develop and manage ETLs to source data from various systems and create unified data model for analytics and reporting.
- Manage numerous requests concurrently and strategically, prioritizing when necessary.
- Partner/collaborate across teams/roles to deliver results.
- Design, implement, and support data warehouse/ data lake infrastructure using AWS bigdata stack, Python/Scala, Redshift, QuickSight, Glue/lake formation, EMR/Spark, Athena etc.
