 Position Summary
 Designs, develops, tests, debugs and implements operating systems components, software tools, and utilities. Determines systems software design requirements. Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency. Generates systems software engineering policies, standards and procedures.
 What You Bring To The RoleEstablished and productive professional individual contributor.Works independently with general supervision.Problems faced are difficult and may be complex.May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practices.Works on moderate to complex projects.Uses company standard policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.Receives moderate level of guidance.Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall accuracy.General proficiency with various tools, systems, and procedures required to accomplish the job.May need to consult with Senior/Specialist staff members on some technical issues.A four year college degree (or additional experience in a related field) and 3 years functional experience including a minimum 1 year position specific experience.Monitors all Data Management supported application jobs, such as but not limited to – Magellan, LDB, GDW, HR data, HPCM, and other downstream data marts.Assists on issues on SAP Business Objects and CFS reports (QlikSense)Creates solution to address business/system incident and request tickets in IM-Serve within the required SLA.Creates and manages CHG request tickets associated to build and development in IM-Serve.Creates and manages job scheduling requests and coordinates with Midrange Scheduling team.Creates and/or enhance applications code with consideration for efficiency and ease of maintenance.Can identify the technical implication of any solution on the other modules/functionalities.Resolves technical issues and analyzes or develops solutions for application programs outside primary application knowledge.Escalates issues or gaps in the designCan coordinate with the other teams that are needed for the requirement/tickets.Can investigate and determine the root cause of the issue.RequirementsStrong SQL skills, familiar with stored procedures.Familiar with scheduling tool such as Control-M.Familiar with ticketing tool such as ServiceNow.Knowledgeable on Unix/Linux OS basic commands.Strong analytical and programming skills, preferably Python.Has at least 1 year data warehousing and ETL/ELT (Extract, Transform, Load) / (Extract, Load, Transform).AWS Resources exposure and skill is a plus – S3, EC2, Redshift, Lambda.GCP exposure and skill is a plus (e.g. BigQuery).Knowledgeable on reporting tool – SAP Business Objects and PowerBI, preferably.This is not a complete listing of the job duties.
