What are we looking for?

For our specialized team, we are looking for a Data engineer specialized in Ab Initio who will work for one of our global customers, that is a global leader in credit cards, auto loans, banking and saving accounts. High level of English required, B2/C1.

100% remote from Spain (need to live here)

Key Responsabilities:

Work as part of a self-organised Data engineering team to design and develop integrations to transform and migrate data from multiple data sources to Snowflake Implement key integrations and pathways to help integrate our ETL platform and reporting & development tools with Snowflake Support the design and implementation of key Snowflake integrations with client organisation,such as authentication, access and connectivity Support the full migration cycle covering Data Migration, Data Verification & ETL Integration between Ab Intio and Snowflake Implement additional cloud integrations from Ab Initio in AWS including but not limited to AWS S3 and RDS Work to implement efficient and secure ways to migrate, process and store significant data Loads

Requirements for the role:

Experience of integrating Snowflake within a cloud and on-prem environment An understanding of the capabilities and integration points between Ab Initio and Snowflake Experience of implementing processes to support secure and efficient access to Snowflake instances from both an AWS and on-prem environment Experience of working with AWS and the file and data storage platforms they provide Ability to refine, plan and estimate work within an agile framework History of collaborative development with peers

Experience that would be advantageous:

Experience of migrations to new Warehousing platforms covering ETL Code Conversion, ETL Integration, Data Migration & Data Validation Experience of working directly with Snowflake to support the installation of a new Cloud Warehouse environment within a large organisation Experience of working in a complex regulated financial environment
