Hexcel is currently seeking a hybrid Data Engineer for our Salt Lake City, UT, USA location. May also be located at Casa Grande, AZ, Decatur, AL, Seguin, TX, Pottsville, PA.

The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:

Working with product owners to identify and design data solutions Engineering data pipelines to pull data from on premises and cloud data sourcesCreate & maintain optimized data pipeline architectureExtracting data and consolidating with data lakes, data warehouse and data martsEngineering models to connect different data sources togetherConstructing a library of data components that can easily be reused to answer different business questionsTroubleshooting and fixing production issues

Qualifications:

Three plus years of relevant ETL, data engineering or similar experience preferred; open to various levels of experienceBachelor’s degree or equivalent, relevant experienExperience with cloud data platforms requiredExperience with Azure SQL Server, Azure Synapse, Azure Analysis Services and Azure Data Factory highly desirable, but not essentialappetite for new technologies and methodologiesStrong understanding of Power BI platform and Power BI paginatedDesign complex data sets to meet the needs of business requirementsTroubleshoot and optimize data pipelinesStrong knowledge of SQL; Understanding of DAX and/or MDX a plusExperience with Databricks desirable, but not essential
