They are a team of experienced cybersecurity professionals with a track record of success in the Federal, Commercial, and Academic workspaces. Additionally, our client designs, builds, operates, and secures scalable cloud and IT infrastructures to meet their customers’ near-term needs and fulfill their long-term requirements.

 

Responsibilities

Our client is seeking a data engineer to work in a variety of settings to develop and design data pipelines to support end-to-end solutions. The selected candidate will build systems that collect, manage, and convert raw data into usable information for multiple purposes to include but not limited to, IT application usage, reporting, applicant processing, etc.

Develop and design data pipelines to support an end-to-end solutionDevelop and maintain artifacts i.e., schemas, data dictionaries, and transforms related to ETL processesIntegrate data pipelines with AWS cloud services to extract meaningful insightsManage production data within multiple datasets ensuring fault tolerance and redundancyDesign and develop robust and functional dataflows to support raw data and expected dataCollaborate with the rest of data engineering team to design and launch new features. Includes coordination and documentation of dataflows, capabilities, etc.

Requirements

4-8+ years of relevant experience is requiredExpereince with the following is required:Amazon Web Services (AWS)Database AdministrationData EngineeringETL Architecture and DevelopmentEnd-to-End ProcessesAPI DevelopmentExtract, Transform, and Load (ETL)Data Pipeline

Preferred Requirements

Database administration and development experienceExperience with cloud message APIs and usage of push notificationsKeen interest in learning and using the latest software tools, methods, and technologies to solve real-world problem sets vital to national security

Education/Certification Requirements

A Bachelor's degree is required for this position

Clearance Requirements

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; an active TS/SCI clearance is required.
