Data Engineer

My client, a sizeable company in logistics industry, is looking for an end-to-end data engineer to support the green field Azure data platform project. They're in the very beginning of an ambitious data journey, that includes both business critical data science products, and data insights for business consumers.

Role & Responsibilities

* Build and optimize data sets, 'big data' data pipelines and architectures
* Participate to set up required infrastructure for optimal data ETL process from various sources
* Build analytical tools to utilize the data pipeline, providing actionable insight into key business performance metrics
* Define the Data Quality and ETL Monitoring process to ensure data availability and timelines
* Support the planning and implementation of data platform services

Skills & Qualifications

* At least 3-4 years of working experience on data engineering
* Solid hands-on experience with ETL/ELT, Python, SQL, API is expected.
* Experience with Azure Data Platform is a must
* Business Acumen with attention to end-to-end and the consumers of data
* Curious, passionate and energetic about profession
* Fluent in English, good communication skill
