You Are:

UST is searching for a Data Engineer who will assist in identifying, analyzing, and interpreting trends or patterns in data sets' generating insights and helping clients make better decisions.

 

The opportunity:

·       Gather large, complex data sets that meet business, functional and non-functional requirements.

·       Create analytics tools that use the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and other key business performance metrics

·       Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems.

 

 

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

 

What you need:

·       Minimum 2 years experience as a Data Engineer, degree in mathematics, computer science, statistics, information systems or other related field.

·       Advanced knowledge of SQL, ETL and experience working with relational and non-relational databases, as well as familiarity with a variety of databases.

·       Experience creating and optimizing data pipelines, architectures and “big data” datasets

·       Experience and analytical skills related to working with unstructured data sets

·       Create processes that support data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management

·       Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment

·       Strong experience using the following software tools such as.

o   Dataiku, Power BI.

o   Experience with SQL and NoSQL relational models.

o   Experience with data flow and data mining tools.

·       Experience with agile frameworks.

·       English B1 - B2
