Data Engineer

Location Qualifications: Bucharest (hybrid, 2 days in the office)

Position Overview: 

Data Engineers will shape the future of the Showpad product by developing its data platform. This role will be placed in the Data Platform team within the data world, alongside with Data Science, Analytical Enablement and Reporting teams. This role will help to develop an ecosystem of services that retrieve, process, enrich, and serve that data. Also will help to make Showpad the ultimate intelligent sales enablement platform.

Key Responsibilities: 

Support the architecture, develop and maintain a data management and exploration platform to be used by data scientists and other engineers Build out a robust infrastructure for dealing with large amounts of data Work closely with data scientists and other engineers to design and maintain scalable data models and pipelines Define ways to measure the quality and consistency of data Define measures to keep up a high level of code quality Be passionate about data and keeping it organised and accessible

Must haves

Previous Cloud Solution experience, preferably AWS (S3, ECS/Fargate, EMR, Glue) Analytical and problem-solving skills, applied to the Big Data domain Experience of CI/CD best practice Proficiency with traditional database SQL technologies (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL) Experience with integration of data from multiple data sources

Nice to haves

Proficiency in Big Data data integration technologies such as Spark, Kafka Experience developing serverless architecture with Python API and library design skills
