Job Title: Data Engineer Location: Remote Job Type: FullTime Introduction: We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in database design, query optimization, and performance tuning, with expertise in SQL Server and TSQL development. Prior hands on experience with MongoDB and familiarity with AWS Redshift are highly desirable. This role involves managing large scale data processing projects and contributing to our data warehousing solutions. Responsibilities: Database Development and Maintenance:
+ Advanced expertise in crafting complex MS SQL queries and developing robust stored procedures. Applicants should demonstrate a strong ability to optimize and troubleshoot SQL code for enhanced database performance.
+ Develop and maintain SQL Server databases, optimizing for performance and scalability.
+ Design and implement robust database solutions, including tables, views, indexes, and stored procedures.
+ Conduct regular database schema reviews and adjust to support evolving business needs.
Data Integration and ETL Processes:
+ Design, develop, and maintain SSIS packages for seamless ETL processes.
+ Manage data ingestion and integration using SQL and NoSQL databases, specifically MongoDB.
+ Ensure data integrity and consistency across distributed systems.
Performance Optimization:
+ Optimize SQL queries and server performance to handle complex data operations efficiently.
+ Implement and maintain performance metrics and monitoring tools to ensure system stability and quick resolution of issues.
Cloud Data Management:
+ Utilize AWS Redshift for data warehousing solutions, managing data storage and retrieval for analytical processing.
+ Monitor and optimize data storage in AWS S3, ensuring data availability and security.
Crossfunctional Collaboration:
+ Work closely with business analysts, software developers, and project managers to meet strategic business goals.
+ Provide technical guidance and support to team members, ensuring best practices in database management and data integration.
Requirements: Education: Master's degree in Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Experience:
+ Minimum 5 years of experience in database development, preferably with MS SQL Server.
+ At least 2 years of experience working with MongoDB and AWS Redshift.
+ Proven track record in designing and implementing largescale data warehouses.
Technical Skills:
+ Expertise in SQL, TSQL, and database administration.
+ Proficiency in MSSSIS for ETL processes.
+ Experience with MongoDB operations and database management.
+ Familiarity with cloud services, particularly AWS (Redshift, S3), and data integration tools.
