The IT Risk Management (ITRM) team at Allianz Services Spain is seeking a Data Engineer to support the development of data and reporting capabilities. The objective is to build a robust infrastructure to enable second-line risk reporting. This includes reporting on the internal control system, focusing on IT processes and operational losses resulting from IT risk events, as well as producing ICT Risk Management Risk Profiles for various stakeholders. The role involves aggregating data from multiple sources into an Azure Data Lake, performing checks, validations, and transformations, and using this processed data to create interactive Power BI reports for senior and C-level management.

What you do

Data Aggregation: Aggregate data from multiple sources into the Azure Data Lake, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and integrity across all datasets used for IT risk reporting.

Data Validation and Transformation: Perform data validation, transformation, and cleansing processes to ensure that the data is accurate and ready for reporting purposes.

Build Reporting Solutions: Create interactive Power BI reports, focusing on IT risk metrics, internal control systems, and operational losses related to IT risk events, tailored to senior and C-level management.

Collaborate with Local Teams: Work closely with local IT and risk management teams to gather the required data and insights, ensuring alignment with broader risk reporting standards.

Support IT Risk Management Processes: Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT risk management processes by supporting data-driven decision-making and providing insights through reporting.

Ensure Compliance: Adhere to internal policies and external regulatory requirements, ensuring all data and reports comply with global IT risk management standards.

 

What you bring

Background in Data Science, Data Engineering, Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics, or a related field Experience implementing data solutions (preferably with Azure Synapse Analytics), or experience deploying solutions on Azure cloud Experience in ETL processes and relational databases Strong experience in SQL for database management, Python for scripting, and GitHub for version control Understanding of data architecture concepts and tools, including data warehouses, data lakes, lake houses, and data catalogs Experience building dashboards, preferably using PowerBI is a plus Understanding of IT Governance and IT Risk Management Frameworks is a plus
