What are you going to do in Allianz?   

 

Engage directly with stakeholders to understand their needs;  Work in a highly collaborative team to find solutions to business problems,  Contribute to the solutions at the backend of the data stack, from ETL to data modelling. Also, including frontend, like dashboards;  Take ownership and responsibility for the quality of the solutions and ensure best practices are used;  Learn new technical skills and help the team succeed;  Collaborate with other teams within the Allianz Group. 

  

What does Allianz need from you?    

 

Strong academic background in mathematics, statistics, IT engineering or similar;   Fluency in English and Spanish;   Previous experienice in Data Engineering roles;  Excellent SQL and query optimization skills and good understanding of data modelling techniques;  Solid Python programming and experience building data pipelines;   Azure or experience with other cloud vendors;  Ability to understand business needs and turn them into meaningful data products;  Self-starter with a drive and curious mindset;  Willingness to step outside their comfort zone to broaden skills and learn new technologies;  High level of collaboration and open to sharing knowledge and feedback.  Bonus skills include:  Experience with CI/CD automation and tools like Github Actions;  Experience with Luigi/Airflow;  Experience with BI and Analytics tools such as PowerBI;  Experience with Docker, K8s;  Experience with Insurance and SAS language;  Exposure to Agile workplace.
