About the Digital Enablement team

Our agile Digital Enablement team which is based in Prague and Brno engages in Big Data, Data Science and Data Analytics activities for both clients in the Czech Republic and globally. Our team helps clients develop data and technology solutions that help them make better business decisions and optimize costs. Using advanced technology, we can focus on putting the right controls, processes and structures in place for our clients to ensure that decisions are based on accurate information, as well as ensuring that resources are used in an efficient manner.

About the Manager

Tomáš is a manager and leader of the Big Data & Data Science team and his experience comes from design and implementation of data & analytics solutions with overlap to Data Strategy. He has experience with large implementation programs in Czech Republic, Germany, France, UAE, Netherlands and USA. Apart from his work related responsibilities he is passionate about traveling (35+ countries), Crossfit (competition level) and his family especially his little daughter.
 

Job description & summary

As a part of the Prague Digital Enablement agile team, you will be responsible for the development of innovative data driven solutions for PwC clients mainly in the field of Big Data and Data Science. 

You will apply your expertise in quantitative business analysis, data mining, and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers.Support, deliver and co-lead projects across all of the stages of the life cycle, from project requirements gathering, solution design, recommendations to project implementation.Playing a client facing role, be the business and technology partner for key stakeholders and act in pre-sales and bid stages.Effective, articulate and professional communications, both verbal and written, to various project stakeholders.Possess a full understanding of a project team’s roles, provide a pro-active contribution to the overall team’s success and lead and mentor junior colleagues in the team.
Requirements of the roleAt least 2 years of experience within data-related roles, preferably in consultancy.Experience in working with data and building data pipelines using ETL tools, SQL procedures and Python.Hands-on experience within tools like Databricks, Snowflake, Spark or similar.A fundamental knowledge of data architecture concepts, theories and approaches (e.g. data warehouse architecture, data governance, master data management, etc.)Awareness (preferably hands-on experience) of Azure, AWS, Cloudera technology stack.Proactive and able to work independently with a strong attention to detail.Excellent communication and presentation skills is a plus.
