ZEISS Digital Partners unit based in Munich, Oberkochen, Jena and Budapest is realizing cutting-edge customer-centric digital solutions jointly with the ZEISS business units.

We need you to work on greenfield projects as well as improving existing data pipelines on a variety of business domains from healthcare to different manufacturing technologies.

Your profile:

At least three years of experience in the field of data engineeringAt least one year of experience with cloud technologies like Azure, AWS, or GCP; therein, experience with the following services (or their equivalent): Azure Functions, Azure Synapse, and Azure Database for PostgreSQLIdeally at least one year of experience with Databricks or MongoDBDeep knowledge in Python programming, thorough knowledge of popular packages such as pandas or polarsFluent in PySpark and SQLSolid understanding of data modelingSolid understanding of software engineering practices such as unit testing, typing, OOP/functional programmingExperience in IaC (esp. Terraform) is a plusIdeally experience in a dashboarding solution such as MS Fabric, MS PowerBI, or GrafanaIdeally experience in API developmentTeam player, interest in working on a variety of topics, curious to learn, happy to share knowledge with colleaguesVery strong technical and problem-solving skillsGood communication with peers, technical teams, and business representatives.Fluency in English both oral and writing
