**Necessary Skills:**
+ Proficiency using SQL to query data, strong knowledge of SQL Joins.
+ Proficiency using either SQL or Python to write data transformation/cleansing scripts.
+ Ability to communicate with agencies/business partners to get necessary data, while being mindful and respectful of their time.
+ Data mapping skills: the ability to make accurate data assumptions and get confirmations even when working with unfamiliar data.
+ Willing to learn and understand business data, so data is mapped and converted in a meaningful way.
**Data Analyst Responsibilities:**
+ Manage all data related tasks for Conversions, including:
+ Data Collection
+ Work with agency and region pull initial data reports (extract SQL data when available)
+ Conduct initial Data Gap analysis and note any potential missing data or concerns about data quality.
+ Recollect data as many times and needed & work on transforming data & combine files as needed.
+ Data Mapping
+ Complete data mapping, possibly working with data entry team or third part vendor.
+ Answer any of the data entry team or third-party vendor’s initial questions and forward any remaining items to review and sign-off by business partners and/or acquired agency.
+ Confirm all mappings and keep track of any lingering and outstanding mapping questions before Go-Live.
+ Data Validation
+ Prepare and conduct at least two data validation sessions and make updates to mapping and data entry plans/instructions as needed.
+ Ensure all data mappings are 100% complete before Data Migration.
+ Data Migration
+ Work with data entry team and or third-party vender to ensure accurate data migration
+ Post Go-Live:
+ Manage any post Go-Live Date Entry & questions, including, but not limited too:
+ Communication with data entry team
+ Resolving any errors not caught during validation.
