Job Description Insight Global is looking to hire a Data Engineer for a retail client based in Vancouver. This role is a hybrid position and requires 3 days onsite/week in Downtown Vancouver. You will be joining a team that works heavily with customer data - owning the customer data pipelines that gather data coming from multiple sources and consolidating that data for different use cases. The team has completed the implementation of an analytics tool to gather customer data from the web, and they are now tasked with moving the data from the analytics platform to their internal Snowflake platform. The ideal candidate will possess experience migrating data from a Google stack of GCP/BigQuery to an Azure/Snowflake environment. The successful candidate will be contributing to all areas of development, and operations and participate in day-to-day production releases and on-call support functions as needed. Additional projects include: Creation and maintenance od data pipelines (GCP, Azure Cloud, Azure Databricks, Snowflake) Creation of secure data views and publish them to the Enterprise Data Exchange via Snowflake Modernization and migration of data pipelines using Databricks Delta Tables (DLT) and Unity Catalog Analysis of Adobe Analytics GA4 analytics data We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
