About the project:  The client is an American community bank that is building an online banking platform based on Mulesoft. Our team will be focused on developing integrations between various SaaS solutions from the client. The team consists of 17 people now: Mulsoft, Salesforce, DevOps, QA (manual and automation), Data, Business Analysts teams, Solution Architects, Scrum Master, PM, and Security analyst. Part of the team is on the client’s side: Mulesoft, DevOps, Data leads, product managers, and product owners. The team is in the European time zone, the client is in the EST time zone. As for the methodology, we have Scrum on the project: 2-week sprints, daily meetings, retro, and planning ceremonies. Technology stack on the project and tools: AWS, Azure DevOps, BitBucket, Jira, Confluence, Teams, Ataccama, Apache Nifi.   Requirements: + At least 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer; + Solid SQL knowledge and good practice in database modeling; + Programming knowledge (Python); + Good understanding of data warehouse processes, REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, and XML; + Experience with AWS (e.g. Schema Registry); + Experience with DB versioning (e.g. Flyway); + Experience with ETL processes and real-time processing  (Apache Nifi); + Upper-intermediate level of English.   Will be a plus: + Experience with banking products preferred; + Experience with Jira and Agile methodology; + Experience with common business systems - ERP, CRM, etc; + Java knowledge.   Responsibilities: + Investigate and resolve issues related to data; + Analyze business requirements and the impact to API design and development; + Clarify data mapping requirements; + Perform data analysis and mapping of fields/data between systems; + Design the architecture of databases; + Develop dataflows; + Cooperate with the DevOps team in terms of tool configuration.   About us: Softjourn is a full-cycle consulting and software development company, with expert product teams experienced in Fintech, Media & Entertainment, with a special emphasis on Ticketing.
