Here, you will feel welcomed, respected, and valued as an important contributor to our Team. **The Opportunity** As a Data Engineer you will be part of the Enterprise Data Architecture team to actively understand Takeda’s data landscape from business, functional, and technology perspective. This is a hands-on role which require both typical business/data analysis and technical skills (e.g. log onto databricks /Informatica/RDS/Redshift/etc to look at data). **Responsibilities** + Resident data guru on EDA team who understand data products and models from business, functional, and technical perspective + Understand what data we have and what data we might be able to get from the wider Takeda systems. + Collaborate with EDA lead on data health score definition and with relevant EAs to ensure health score are up to data in the relevant systems. + Ensure the data domains and heat map/roadmap / data health score are up to date in the corresponding systems (e.g. LeanIX, data marketplace) + Support EDS data governance pillar as they progress on data domain initiatives – jointly own the data domain/sub-domain/taxonomy and actively engage the relevant EA and business data domain owners to develop roadmap for future data products in each domain. + Support EDS Solution Architects to bolster their data understanding so they can support EDS customers to understand business problems and help build Analytical Solution + Support the wider Takeda community to understand our data landscape (domain/sub-domain level) and partner with specific data domain owners on deep understanding. + Be flexible in terms of taking on tasks at short notice due to the nature of this team’s responsibilities (i.e. we might be asked to produce the health score, heatmap, stats, what data products we have at which data lakes …) + Form an effective partnership with the internal EDS teams, EDS customers, and EAs as most deliverables involve other many parties. + Be on the daily stand-up and deliver our promises transparently **Skills and Qualifications** + 3+ years relevant progressive experiences + Strong industry data knowledge (i.e. data domain / taxonomy …) + Hands-on and flexible in taking on tasks + Great slide and presentation skills + Experience in being part of delivering data analytics program + Part of program/project/ product management experience, including SDLC and Agile execution experience + Ability to communicate ideas and data both verbally and written in a persuasive and appropriate manner + Ability to utilize data collection, analysis, maintenance application and refinement methods to make fact-based decisions + Ability to analyze a wide variety of data and make appropriate decisions + Ability to transform Business Requirements into Technical Specifications + Ability to articulate and communicate to the Business on the solutions that has been developed **Tools and Technology** + Experience with AWS, Databricks, Informatica, Power BI, Data modeling tool, SQL, Python, PySpark + Strong technical understanding of BI / CRM systems and Enterprise IT architecture, including knowledge of systems and technologies typically used by the pharmaceutical industry **Preferred** + In-depth pharmaceutical industry and experience + Agile Project / Product management qualification or equivalent experience preferable **What Takeda Can Offer You** At Takeda, you may build your career, while contributing to better people’s lives.
