Data Engineer - Azure Databricks

Job description
This is a hybrid role, with 1-2 days per week in their Central London office to collaborate with the wider team, and the rest working from home.
This organisation have invested a lot into their data function in recent years, and they are now operating on Azure, with a desire to start utilising Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in the future, making this is an incredibly exciting time to join the team!
You will write clean and testable code using SQL and Python, to enable their customer data products and business applications, and work with databricks to build and manage data pipelines and notebooks. You will continually look to optimise systems and processes wherever possible, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the team.

Requirements
* Excellent skills in Databricks and Pyspark
* Excellent experience with SQL and T-SQL programming
* Experience designing, developing and maintaining data warehouses and data lakes
* Knowledge of Azure Data Lake technologies including Azure Data Factory and Synapse
* Knowledge of Agile methodology
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Benefits
* Salary up to £70,000 depending on experience
* 25 days annual leave plus additional 3 to be taken over Christmas - New Year
