Your role in our team
At the heart of our efforts to accelerate the energy transition, you will play a vital role as a Data Engineer. Together with customers, colleagues and partners, you work on developing and implementing solutions that are not only technologically advanced, but also smart and sustainable. You do this by working closely together in a multidisciplinary team of Data Scientists, Engineers and Architects. You will contribute to building and maintaining robust data platforms and play a key role in the architectural design of new projects.
Together, you translate the latest trends in both the IT and energy industries into practical and innovative solutions that help our customers achieve their sustainability goals. Your contribution will foster a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration, aimed at achieving the best possible results in our mission to support the energy transition with smart data-driven solutions.
How you strengthen our team
You have a passion for data and innovation and are well-versed in the latest developments in your field. Data is your driving force. You are naturally curious, proactive and easily win others over to your ideas. In addition, you are active in sharing and developing your knowledge within your field. You have an Agile mindset and experience of working in an Agile environment.
Furthermore, we ask:
At least 5Y experience as a Data Engineer with a track record of designing, implementing, and optimizing data solutions.
Strong experience with AWS services such as S3, Athena, Glue, and Redshift, and effective experience in utilizing Databricks, preferably on AWS, for data processing and analytics.
Programming skills in Python, Spark, SQL, or another data engineering language, with the ability to develop and maintain complex data workflows and transformations.
Experience with data processing technologies and frameworks, along with a strong understanding of data architecture principles and best practices.
Knowledge of Agile processes such as Scrum or Kanban, with the ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team environment.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently to deliver high-quality data solutions.
Is a PLUS :
Experience in utilities market / Metering & allocation data management
Knowledge of technical systems like SAP ISU
Familiar with financial closing reports
Native Dutch or French with good communication in English
Education : Bachelor or master degree with a focus on Information Technology, or equivalent
