**Job Summary**
The DX Data Provisioning & FastPass is a dedicated data engineering team focused on delivering high-priority solutions for critical business initiatives with speed and precision.
This Engineer 1-level role will support and recover production jobs, create ETL pipelines, develop and debug Spark code, and create JSON files. Responsible for planning and designing new software applications, completing programming and implementing, testing and debuging defined software components.
**Job Description**
This Engineer will work with the team in our West Chester, PA or Englewood, CO office; preference is for candidates in West Chester. It is not approved for remote or virtual employment.

**Qualifications:**
+ Experience supporting and recovering production jobs using AWS, Bash, Tableau, Teradata, CI/CD Pipelines, DBeaver, Informatica
+ Familiarity developing and debugging Spark code in Python using Spark SQL and used Kubernetes and Databricks to run large transformations over existing datasets
+ Understanding of performing server requests against paginated APIs using Python Requests library and stored data into Minio s3 paths
+ Spark , AWS, Pyspark, Spark SQL, SQL, Tableau, Kubernetes, Shell scripting using Bash/Python, Linux, Databricks
Preference for applicants with:
+ Prior use of Comcast internal software such as Open Ingest and DPL to create ETL Pipelines using SQL Server as the source, and then using XGears job scheduling tool for daily runs
+ Ability to create json files using Comcast NIF framework, as well as using jsons to ingest data into Minio and Teradata

+ Reviews, writes and edits codes. Conducts analysis to determine integration needs.
+ Researches, writes and edits documentation and technical requirements, including software design evaluation plans, test results and technical manuals.
+ Monitors and evaluates competitive applications and products. Reviews literature, patents and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects.
+ Works with the Quality Assurance team to determine if applications fit specification and technical requirements.
+ Applies full use and application of engineering methodologies related to area of engineering specialty.
+ Displays knowledge of engineering concepts and skills and knowledge of their application in the area of specified engineering specialty.
+ Displays knowledge of and ability to apply, process design and redesign skills.
+ Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

**Salary:**
Pay Range: This job can be performed in Denver Campus with a Pay Range of $67,504.48 - $101,256.72
