In this role you will get to architect, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines within Palantir Maven Smart Systems, ensuring intelligence data is reliable, secure, and optimized to support AI/ML workflows and the J2’s warning problem management mission. **What You'll Be Doing:** + Architect, design, and maintain scalable data pipelines and integrations to support AI/ML initiatives and intelligence workflows + Build, optimize, and manage data ingestion processes for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured intelligence datasets + Implement ETL/ELT frameworks to support model training, testing, and deployment in classified environments + Ensure data quality, governance, lineage, and security compliance within J2’s AI/ML workflows + Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to provision clean, reliable datasets optimized for machine learning and operational intelligence tasks + Lead technical integration of Palantir Foundry data assets with Maven AI/ML services + Troubleshoot performance issues and implement improvements in data access, storage efficiency, and pipeline scalability + Provide mentorship and guidance to junior data engineers, setting best practices for coding, architecture, and pipeline design **What Required Skills You'll Bring:** + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related technical field + **Active DoD Top Secret/SCI with CI Poly which requires US citizenship** + 8+ years of experience in data engineering, big data frameworks, or enterprise data integration + Hands-on experience with **Palantir Foundry, Maven Smart Systems** , and similar enterprise-scale platforms + Demonstrated expertise with ETL/ELT development, data pipeline architecture, and large-scale data ingestion + Proficiency in SQL and Python, with hands-on experience in distributed data frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark) + Experience working with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data sources + Strong understanding of data governance, security, and metadata management in secure or classified environments + Active DoD Top Secret/SCI with CI Poly at the time of hire **What Desired Skills You'll Bring:** + 10 years of progressive data engineering experience supporting AI/ML or intelligence systems + Hands-on experience with **Palantir Foundry, Maven Smart Systems** , and similar enterprise-scale platforms + Experience with cloud services (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and containerized environments (Kubernetes, Docker) + Familiarity with MLOps, model lifecycle support, and AI/ML data pipeline optimization + Experience integrating intelligence community (IC) and DoD data sources into enterprise platforms + Demonstrated ability to lead teams, mentor junior engineers, and serve as a technical SME in data architecture **Security Clearance Requirement:** An active Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph security clearance is required for this position.​ This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.
