What we look for?
We are looking for an expert Data Engineer with expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF), SQL, and Snowflake to create efficient, scalable data architectures that support our business operations for an important project with a global investment company.
100% remote position for people located in Spain.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and optimize ETL processes using Azure Data Factory (ADF) for efficient data integration. Develop and maintain SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into Snowflake. Implement and manage data models and schema in Snowflake, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval for analytics purposes. Work closely with business analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver quality data solutions. Build and maintain data pipelines to automate data extraction, processing, and loading into the data warehouse. • Optimize data pipelines for scalability, performance, and reliability. Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline issues, ensuring data accuracy and timeliness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration with other cloud-based and on-premise systems. Ensure adherence to data governance policies and best practices for data security, quality, and compliance.Mandatory requirements:
5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a related role with a focus on cloud data engineering. Expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF) for creating, deploying, and managing data pipelines. Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with SQL Server or other relational databases. Proven experience with Snowflake for data modeling, management, and integration. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (preferably Microsoft Azure). In-depth understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data integration strategies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize data pipelines. • Experience in creating scalable and high-performance data architectures. Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and security practices. English at least C1Preferred Skills:
Experience with other Azure services like Azure Databricks, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, or Azure Synapse Analytics. Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools in the context of data engineering. Experience working in an Agile environment.¿What can we offer?
