Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join a leading security software company on a contract basis in San Mateo, California. Responsibilities: • Unpack boxes and organize inventory for processing. • Inspect products for damage and ensure they meet quality standards. • Prepare items for shipping, including packaging and labeling. • Upload software to devices and conduct diagnostic tests. • Maintain accurate records of inventory and shipments. • Utilize data entry skills to update systems with relevant information. • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow. • Assist in organizing files and maintaining a clean workspace. • Operate basic office equipment such as scanners and printers. • Perform calculations and data analysis as needed. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a data entry or related role. • Proficiency in 10-key typing and general typing skills. • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. • Ability to manage email correspondence professionally. • Experience with organizing files and maintaining records. • Familiarity with basic office equipment and office procedures. • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a team environment. • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform calculations accurately.
